Wellness Radar: Week of April 19, 2021

When I polled you last week on what you wanted to see more of the resounding answers were MORE RESTORATIVE YOGA and HELP ME GET MY HABITS TO STICK. I got you, friends!

This month’s community classes are Sunday the 25th.


5:15 PM (30 min) WORKSHOP: habit tracking! A simple strategy you can use to get new habits (like drinking more water or prioritizing your daily workout) to stick. You’ll leave with your own custom habit stack and a plan to get ALLLL the habits you’ve been dreamin’ of to stick forever-ever.

6 PM (45 minutes) REVIVE & RESTORE: the best of yin, restorative, and athletic recovery for a full body releaaaaase.

IMPORTANT NOTE: by signing up for the classes above, you will automatically be sent a video recording of class after to access forever. If you’re interested in the event but can’t attend live, I still recommend signing up so that you can access the video at a time that works best for you!

Do you even lift, bro? This TikTok weight lifting satire made me laugh so hard I cried.

My body is sweaty. I don't have the best luck with sunscreen and sweat (at what point are my eyeballs ruined forever?), but I used this over the weekend and had no sweaty-sunscreen-burning-eye-situations. Also did not get a sunburn. Win-win.

If your thighs touch, you're one step closer to being a mermaid. But that doesn't mean that thigh-chafage feels good. Get a chafe stick. You will never go back. (CBD balm also works great in a pinch!)
