PRODUCT GIFTING POLICY
I take immense pride in the the content and quality of this site. In accordance with my promise to my community to provide them with quality, informative, and honest content I must ensure that I am making things exceptionally clear to all brands and give them value for their money. Therefore, so that all parties may have a clear understanding, I present the following terms and conditions on how I handle product gifting.
If you would like to offer a free product or service (“Product Gifting”), whether for review or to style and post on any Donuts + Down Dog channel and/or related social media, the Product Gifting policy is as follows:
donuts + down dog does not trade products or services for a guaranteed post.
We reserve the right to decide if and when to feature a gifted product/service in a blog or social media post. By sending the items, you agree that Donuts + Down Dog is under no obligation to deliver promotional content in exchange, unless alternate arrangements have been agreed upon prior to sending the product or service.
Donuts + Down Dog may or not post about the gifted product or service in whatever context and timeframe deemed appropriate.
A collaboration that requires guaranteed blog/social media exposure (or any other requests like specific keywords or links) is considered “sponsored content” and is therefore liable to incur a partnership fee that covers content production costs.
Any links included in a blog post will be “no follow” in accordance with Google’s guidelines about paid links, whether “payment” was via a gifted item/service or monetary compensation. Please click here to read about Google’s Link Schemes.
By sending the items to Donuts + Down Dog you agree that any returns or collections of unsuitable items will be at your own expense;
If gifted product(s) are sent without warning or prior notification or consent, all the above terms still apply.

Fees for a blog post feature or social media exposure can be discussed further via email or contact. The fee quoted will reflect what level of exposure is required and will be quoted based on those requirements.
Modification
We may amend or revise this Product Gifting Policy from time to time. Please review it periodically.
