CBD Frosé Is The Most Perfect Drink Of All Time

Hello humans of the internet and strangers that feel like dear friends. Today is the day that I go full Instagram and give the people what they want - CBD Frosé. I posted about this on Instagram while I was recipe testing and was practically harassed into posting the recipe so here you go, damnit. Is making CBD Frosé the most millennial/Instagram thing I've ever done? Honestly, probably. But I'm not sorry about it.

In case you've been living under a rock without internet or access to civilization, frosé is exactly what you think it is- frozen rosé. It is what I like to think of as an adult slushee. It is truly divine, what dreams are made of, summer in a cup, a one-way ticket to paradise, etc. Adding CBD basically just takes all that goodness, multiplies it by infinity, and voila.

Also, this is not my first time proclaiming my love for rosé here. Please read my entire ode from beginning to end and then circle back. Maybe read it twice if you're really feelin' it.

In addition to my love for rosé I also have a deep love and appreciation for CBD products. CBD is derived from hemp or cannabis plants and has endless healing properties, but won't get you stoned. When I got in my car accident my doctor recommended that I use CBD products for pain relief instead of pain medication and I am so glad that she did. CBD also has helped a ton with my anxiety, depression, and sleep. I've tried a ton of different CBD brands and forms (pills, tinctures, oils, salves) and my current favorite way to consume CBD is Ned 300mg Full Spectrum Hemp Oil. It's not super strong and it's basically flavorless, so I will often mix it into foods. YUM.

Our vet suggested that we give dog CBD drops to Maxi for her general craziness and they've been such a huge help. We live right near Lake Washington and with all the Blue Angels madness this week (for those of you that aren't in Seattle it's a GIANT air show) right above our house, CBD drops have been the only thing keeping her from a full blown doggy panic attack. There are other sources on the internet that can explain CBD benefits more eloquently than myself but just know this: it's amazing.

Adding CBD to Frosé is the perfect chill-out concoction that we all need. No, deserve.

You will need:

  • 16 ounces of your favorite rosé
  • Your favorite flavorless CBD. I use Ned 300mg Full Spectrum Hemp Oil
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • Juice of one blood orange (I used this reamer)
  • 1 tablespoon local honey
  • 1 full tray of ice cubes

To make:

  • Mix rosé, juice, raspberries, and ice in your blender until ice has broken down
  • Add in honey and 1 full dropper of your favorite CBD Oil
  • Blend again for about 30-45 seconds
  • Pour into two glasses (I'm a Mason Jar gal myself) and share with a buddy. Or be selfish and give yourself two glasses.

Makes two large servings. Perfect for patio hangs while blasting oldies.
