Wednesday Workouts - The Beginning of Something Magical
When I first started blogging I had a (now retired) Wordpress site that was essentially a log of all my food/fitness/inspiration musings. It was very basic blogging. Sometimes I pull it up to relive the glory days, but the feeling of reading those old posts is very similar to reading Facebook posts from high school. Some things are better left in the past.
BUT one thing that I did on my old blog was post my favorite workouts/workout songs each week. This was, without question, the most popular aspect of my very first blog. So popular in fact, that somebody recently asked if I would bring it back and I thought what the hell.
So, dear donut-loving-dead-lifters, I would like to reintroduce you to Wednesday Workouts.
On Wednesday of each week I will share my favorite workout and add a few songs to the Wednesday Workout Jams playlist (below!).
This weeks workout comes to you from my Instagram fitness obsession, Sarah Bowmar. If you don't already follow Sarah Bowmar on Instagram, I HIGHLY recommend it. She is fucking badass. She has about a million fitness certifications and muscles for days.
I have been doing this banded ab workout 1-3 times per week depending on what I have planned. It is so killer. Make sure that you have a band with lots of resistance to support your body weight. If you don't already have bands, I like to use these ones.
The first time I did this workout it hurt to laugh for like 3 days after. I wish you the best of luck. And sore abs. Because duh.
