Let's Hang Out IRL

First donut of 2017 and it was worth every bite.

While the rest of my city is obsessing over the sports-ball game happening somewhere in the world, I've been knee-deep in reading Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl (it's such a good book!) and chugging coffee. So, really an ideal weekend over here. I also had my first donut of the year, ate at my favorite restaurant (Plum Bistro), and did a lot of yoga. Life is good, my friends. Life is good.

While hanging out in the internet is oodles of fun (thanks for reading, dudes), wouldn't it be crazy if we... hung out in real life? I have a few really rad events coming up this year that I wanted to share with you fine people, because why not!

If you are in Seattle...

Beer + Yoga = so much fun.

Beer + Yoga = so much fun.

If you haven't been to one of these events yet you are seriously missing out, and I say that without a hint of sarcasm. These events are basically a yoga class in a brewery with a complimentary adult beverage to enjoy after. The ladies at Just Add Yoga are some of the raddest yogi-entrepreneurs that I've met in my life, and their events are pure joy. No matter which one you go to, you can expect a user-friendly class for yogis of all ages, great food, and excellent company. The Just Add Yoga community is one of my favorite groups of people in Seattle. They are kind, silly, and love to drink. What more could you want?! I don't even care if you go to one that I'm teaching, just get your butt to one of them! Do it! Go!

If you need the sunshine...

Let's go here, yeah?

Yes, babes. I AM LEADING A YOGA RETREAT IN MEXICO WITH MY BOSS AND I AM SO EXCITED I COULD VOMIT. This is, obviously, is a much spendier option, but I promise that it will be worth it. We will get so tan, so bendy, and we will eat so much guacamole. All of the guacamole in Chacala will be gone by the day we leave!

My favorite part about this retreat, and it was really hard to choose, is that the only things we have scheduled for our attendees are two classes a day. That's it! The rest of the time is free to lay on the beach, drink some beers, read, and do whatever else it is that one desires to do on a Mexican vacation. We are going to get sweaty, relax, and play in the sun. If I never return, don't be surprised.

This is, luckily, just the beginning. I am #BLESSED to be collaborating on a lot of truly exciting projects, trainings, and events this year. I pinky-promise to share the details with you about all the other goodness I have going on as soon as possible.

Happy Saturday, babes. Hope you are having fun watching sportsball, or whatever.
